My Search For Answers
As the Literacy Leader at my school I searched for a programme that could be easily implemented in all junior classrooms by all teachers. I found the answer in a programme created by a Junior School teacher and based on in-depth research.
Jolly Phonics is a powerful programme that will teach children to read, write and spell while they're having fun. Since I first started using it in 1996 I've been amazed at the results (as have other teachers and parents). I loved it so much I've now trained over 2,500 teachers in the method and toured the UK and Dubai speaking with it's creator.
Why Is It So Powerful?

- It uses all the learning styles in seamless and remarkably effective ways
- It's FUN!
It's also cost effective as the handbooks and resources are photocopiable. The focus is on the teacher's professional knowledge rather than on expensive equipment.
